We hear in the press how doctors and Nurses are lacking in compassion, teachers are failing and Social Workers are ignoring danger signs. We also hear that the press invade privacy etc
How true are these stories?
Professions have professional standards determined by the profession itself.
It seems that these failures are due to the state and other powerful institutions preventing professional people from working to their professional standards.
Journalists are so far removed from their professional standards that they assume that every other profession is in the same state; and it is so.
